Free iPod explained

Okay, so a little clarification on the Free iPod thing.

What do you have to do to help?

  1. If you want to help me get a free iPod, you need to click this link (or the one above) and sign up for an account with freeiPods.com.

  2. Check NO or decline ALL of their product offers until you get to the screen that says:

“Now complete an offer! Participate in any one (1) of the offers below to be eligible to receive your FREE iPod!”

  1. Choose one of THOSE offers to sign up for (I recommend BMG if you haven’t already, or “Complete Home” (you’ll get a $20 Lowes gift card).

0ptional:

4: Tell all your friends/family about your account and you could get one too.

Do I have to sign up for a bunch of stuff that is going to cost me a lot of money?

No. You DO however, have to sign up for ONE trial offer of theirs (BMG Music, Columbia House DVD’s, a Citibank credit card app, among other things). These can be cancelled during the trial and some will cost you nothing, others might cost you a couple bucks. I signed up for “Complete Home”, which will get me a $20 lowes gift card, will cost me a buck for a month trial membership (and $8/month after that, cancel anytime for a full refund).

Does it actually work?

Yup.

It’s pretty simple. Reports all over the net say that you don’t actually get any spam from these places either. (And even if you did, would you really notice two or three extra spam emails?).

Gotta love a free market. Long live capitalism!

Help a brotha out….
