And wierd too, because I watched the first movie again this weekend and was struck by the climax wher Neo "dies." Trinity then tells his dead body that she now knows he's the One because the Oracle told her she would fall in love with a dead man and the dead man would be the One. And since she loves him and he is dead, therefore he is the One. "Now get up," she concludes, and do what needs getting done. I thought about that in light of Ephesians 5:25 and how husbands must choose to die for their wives. I interpret that as in that we continually deny ourselves in the moment-by-moment choices we make. So my advice to ladies looking for Mr. Right, or maybe Mr. Close Enough, fall in love with a dead man. Very funny.
