In the interest of fairness and accuracy, the title of this SHOULD be “Elena Eats Revelation.” It’s good, though, that, even at this young age, she has a hunger for the word.

You should put a sign on her that says repent because the end is near :)

Lol… she’ll have memorized 10x the number of verses as most christians by the time she is 5 :-P

    I LOVE wendy sue’s comment! ;-D

Actually I need to find your old Children’s Illustrated Bible from the very early 1980’s for Elena. It was the version of the Bible where the Bible stories were done in ‘comic strip’ form. It was quite popular and very contraversial (sp?) at the time.

You loved it, Matt, and wore that Bible out looking at the pictures and talking to us about them, but you also told Pastor Rewerts, when he asked to see it, to be “very careful with it because it was VERY heavy….it has a lot of people in it.” (I think you were all of 3 years old)

    :-D

I have the “adventure bible” that you got me when i was a pre-teen? It’s illustrated as well and has a lot of explanatory notes along the way, but if you can find that illustrated Bible, i would LOVE it for her!!

WHAT?! a bible in comic strip form? I really have to see this, I’m sure it’s completely different than my personal vision for a graphic novel style bible, but I’d still be interested in seeing it.
