In a few hours, barring major controversy, lawsuit, and other scandal or error and confusion, we will get to see who God has appointed as president for us, and how he feels our House and Senate should be balanced.
All speculation over who Jesus would vote for will be over and we will know what his will for our country is. This gives me great peace in this otherwise very stressful time.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. Romans 13:1-2

Thanks Matt. I actually was going to post the same sentiment. I am determined to not be like those who’ve vilified Bush the last 8 years. Obama is my president and he deserves my respect, just as any elected official does.

Is it God’s will for us to sin? No, but it happens because he gives us over to it when we choose it over him.
To say this election outcome is necessarily God’s will is something I find dubious, yet nonetheless I agree with how we should react given our situation.
