NEW CAR!!!
So Nancy and I took the plunge yesterday and purchased a new (used) car. I will post pictures as soon as I have a few. The dealer took the link to the car off the site, so I can’t link to it (sadness).
For all you guys out there: its’a 1997 Nissan Altima GLE (limited edition) -77,600 miles -2.4 L inline 4 cylinder -Automatic transmission (ya, i’m a wuss) -Power Locks, windows, breaks (as if cars don’t have power brakes anymore), moon roof -Cruise, AC, Cassette (with sweet sound system) -new tires, new brakes
For all you gals: It’s black.
(hehehe, yes that was cruel)
But no joke, every guy i tell either asks “what year?” “how many miles?” “how big is the engine?”
EVERY girl I have told asks “What color is it??”

Does “sweet sound system” mean that your front passenger-side speaker now works?
MATTHEW HEEREMA!
pat - no i was exagerating for personal gain. :)
heather - hehehehe
I can assure you: you’ve made a great purchase. I also have a 1997 Nissan Altima automatic. I received it at 47,000 miles and just rolled over 100,000 a month ago–it’s been smooth sailing since the first day I had it. This is a much better story than my last car–(a ‘90 Ford Tempo). Weekly, parts would fall off/out of/chip off the car, and I would throw them in the trunk. Let me tell you, my trunk got pretty full after a while of spare parts. Can we call them “spare”?
My car is silver.
I was informed this weekend that most Nissans are, in fact, silver. It’s good to know that you’ve had good luck with the car. It’s a lot of fun so far!
not good luck. I’ve had the grace of God with that car, I believe, even though it is a well-made ve-hicle. :)
sigh you know what I meant. I don’t believe in luck either. But people know what you mean when you say “good luck”, and they look at you funny when you say “good grace”.
But thanks for clearning that up anyway :)
yes. that is a weird phrase.
