I overheard the following on the radio while driving to HyVee today. What is wrong with this ad?
All you need in order to purchase a car is a job and $199, PLUS get UP TO $4000 MINIMUM for any old trade in!
(later in the “fine print”…)
“Offers not combinable.”
Who can point out the most contradictions and crazinesses with this ad?

do you have to sign the title in blood?
although I would for sure trade in my 93 maxima which has never had a serious problem for the “adobe car” from snl, which was of course, almost entirely made of clay.

Theoretically, if Steve Jobs were to try to trade in his Rolls Royce, the dealership would not have to provide the trade in value, since he has the $199 and a job. The deal is written so that anyone able to buy a car is not subject to the obligatory trade in clause.
Then again, what would they do in the alternative universe where Jobs hadn’t been subsidized by the public school system, and he had become a hobo as a natural result? Is hobo a job? Or can Jobs say he is a job?
Also: Who ever heard of a new trade-in? Can the 10 year old that mows lawns buy a car? Is evangelism a job? Matt drives?
