Bad early 80′s music
Horrible plastic smiles
Hohner headless guitar
Fake drum track
What’s not to love?
True evidence of God’s sovereignty in salvation: that anyone was saved in the 80s…

I don’t remember anything like this in the 80′s, and I was there, man. Then again, I didn’t get saved until 1991. P.S. The whole performance is tracked–the polished studio sound, the mismatched keyboard playing… Not uncommon then or now. P.S. v2.0 The drums are real; just studio recorded. P.S. v2.1 “He’ll love me when I’m perfect if I ever get that way…” What?

Wow… I’m not even sure how to respond to this. It is horrifying… thought the lyrics are hilarious! Are we sure this isn’t a spoof? Where did they come up with some of this?
“He taught me how to turn the other cheek when people laugh”????
“He taught me how to praise my God, yet still play rock’n roll”??? Are they qualified to say this is rock’n roll?
“He is like a mounty, He always gets His man, and He’ll zap you any way He can. Zap.”?? Wow.

It’s not a spoof, it’s an actual segment of an actual show from the early 80s. These guys were serious. Their theology is more than a little suspect though…

Terrible. Absolutely terrible.
Except for the guy playing the “Les Paul”. What an awesome mustache.
