Church Drama Set to Lifehouse’s ‘Everything’
I’m not quite sure what to title this post. All I know is that people are calling this a skit but it’s not. It’s an extremely well done piece of performance art. Not sure if they had the rights to use Lifehouse’s song all coordinated or anything like that, but I’m not sure the guys would mind.
This starts off a bit cheesy, but try and stick through it. Totally worth it. Made me cry… maybe just because I like the song so much.

[…] thanks to Matt and Nancy Heerema for pointing this out. It’s a church drama set to the song Everything by the band […]
It’s a neat inspirational piece.
And not to read too much into it, but the father and daughter are white. The corruptors seem to be hispanic, black, black, and black-shrouded.
Anyway, the actors pulled it off well.
Ken, interesting observations, I actually noticed the same thing when first watching it. I’m not sure it’s intentional, but it might be.
And actually, that is not her father, it is Jesus (though, father figure is a good way of looking at it.) And I’m pretty sure the actor portraying him is not caucasian either…
wow. Nancy told me about this so I had to watch it. I cried, too. Powerful.
Phenomenal! Watching this brought tears to my eyes and put sin in a realistic perspective. Thank you for sharing.
Actually, Jesus is portrayed by a hispanic man, the girl and the drunk girl are white and the others are hispanic and black. I doubt that was intentional. This SKIT has been redone tons of times and is portrayed by different people every time. :)
Calling it a skit is selling yourself short :) This particular performance is an amazing work of art.
