Ending two term limits.

Current Events

There is a lot of noise being made about H.J. Res 5, repealing the 22nd amendment to the constitution, effectively ending term limits. Causing a big scare, mostly among ultra conservative types.

Just wanted to mention that Ronald Reagan had the same idea.

    Either way, I highly doubt anything will come of it, especially with Presidential term limits. Note that this resolution was referred to the Judiciary committee. I can imagine them banging their heads against the table. I know I would.

    A great way to get people spun up about this is to point out that usually you see this happen in third world countries. Places where the leader’s name is preceeded by “Generalissimo”. Or New York City.
