What will this Superior Panel do for you?

Aside from being able to read every single type of flash ram out there, and give me an AV-in on the front panel, as well as give me a very “31337″ processor temp reading on the computer, it will allow me to have a firewire interface between my PC and Mac. VERY useful.

So does it go on the birthday/Christmas/wish list or does it go on the purchase in the near future list?

It goes on the “if i had money to spend on this sort of thing I would purchase it in the near future” list :) So, for now, wish list.

I only skimmed the review, but I’m curious. Did you get the impression that the card readers attach to the USB bus and essentially route externally to the back of the computer? Does that work for Firewire, too? (In other words, do you need a Firewire port in back of your computer, or does it bridge over to the USB?) $30 is a nice price, though!

You know what Scott, you are correct.

I no longer want this piece of equipment.

    Darn.
