Did you get the impression that the card readers attach to the USB bus and essentially route externally to the back of the computer? Does that work for Firewire, too? (In other words, do you need a Firewire port in back of your computer, or does it bridge over to the USB?) $30 is a nice price, though! I only skimmed the review, but I’m curious.
