Blogging Lull / top 10.
Call it the end of summer syndrome, the fault of moving and internet connections being down, or the fact that some of us have been at this for over a year now and are getting tired of it, but it seems that blogging is in sort of a lull lately.
I have heard that some of us are suffering from the “I have 10 things to write about and can’t choose so I will write about nothing” syndrome as well. That has been my case. I have about 8 stories from our Minneapolis trip that I would like to relate, as well as an anecdote from our camping trip this last weekend, and then there are the myriad of thoughts I’ve been having about worship leading, and the Lone Strangers vs. The Rock Band. It’s hard.
So in the mean time I will leave you with a question. If you had to pick your 10 favorite CD’s that you own, what would they be? >:)

Does this include CDs I may or may not have downloaded/burned?
It might be a lot more fun, for me at least, to list my 10 favorite CDs regardless of ownership, since I purchase very few due to my lack of cash at this point in my college career. :)
I was kinda just thinking ones that you own. But feel free to make two lists: top 10 that you own and top 10 that you wish you had :)
Soon to be added to this list, as soon as I make my next CD purchase, will be Ben Folds live. Plus, everything Chopin is good, no matter what CD it is on.
Top 10 lists are hard.
Top 10 I own:
That may change when I go home and look at my CDs
Top 10 I wish I had:
If anyone is interested, here’s a link to my Amazon.com wish list so you can buy me some of these ;)
I love lists.
Here’s a list, in no order of preference. I’m listing those CDs I go back to over and over and am therefore discounting recent CDs that I may enjoy but haven’t entered “classic” status yet. Sort of like waiting five years before you induct a baseball player into the Hall of Fame.
“Who’s Next” The Who
(can you guess my age yet)
“Just Another Band from East L.A.” Los Lobos
Honorable mention: “Bring the Whole Family” John Hiatt; “Girlfriend” Matthew Sweet; “Slow Train Coming” Bob Dylan; “Let it Bleed” Rolling Stones; “Blown to Smithereens” The Smithereens; Led Zepplein II and IV.
An unfortunate dirth of Christian music.
This is an “at the moment” top 10. Results may vary. Void where prohibited.
Hey, I’m not in a lull!
I’m just keeping my pace of a post or two every month. :-)
This will probably change; but on a whim, here goes, in particular order:
*-not owned
!!!!!
I didn’t think anyone else knew of that CD! I think that’s my overall favorite CD. Beautifully done.
And I’d list the rest, but I have to go to work now, and nobody would recognize most of the artists. I’ll throw out a few though.
Irish Descendants
Echoing Green
Captain Tractor
For The Better

I was just gonna do this on MY site!!!
