Making Elena Smile

I’m not extremely affectionate with Nancy in public, but I am more so around the house. One sure fire way to make Elena smile is to give Nancy a hug and a kiss. This always causes her to get a big grin, and giggle slightly, and sometimes even clap.

She’s only 11 months old, but somehow, I think she “gets it”. She knows that her daddy loves her mommy and that makes her smile. Good stuff.

   And don’t forget, as daddy, she will look to you for confirmation that she is lovely and that she has a beauty all her own. All little girls desire to be delighted in, as I’m sure you know, and daddy’s reaction to this desire will impact her for the rest of her life!
