The P.F. Chang’s Disaster

P.F. Chang's China BistroOne of the gifts Nancy and I recieved for Christmas was a gift certificate to one of our favorite restaurants: P.F. Chang’s. We finally got around go going last night. Enjoyed every bite, and brought home about four meals worth of leftovers (one of the best part of the restaraunt.)

It’s a fairly “fancy” place, though you can dress however you want. You’ll probably feel a bit out of place in jeans and a t-shirt, but there are people there who wear that sort of thing. There are also people in tuxedos and formal gowns. I have no idea why. Prices average about $10-$12 per plate. Dinner for two with appetizer and drinks and tip is around $40. Hence, only go on very special occasions (like having a gift card).

To cut to the chase; this morning I woke up to a blood curdling scream coming from our dining room. Nancy had woken up before me and gone downstairs, and discovered, to her horror, that we had forgotten to refrigerate the leftovers, thus despoiling the contents of the beautiful, fragrant, white paper bag. We are still in mourning.

C’mon!! What doesn’t kill you only makes your immune sytem stronger!!

I thought you were a college student at one point in time. These are simple truths, and you should cling to them forever.

Are we going to have to discuss this in lifegroup? ;)

Who hasn’t seen the pizza box left out on the counter overnight and not still eaten the pizza?

Yah, but one of the dishes was seafood. Plus we’re being extra careful now. But trust me, the thought of just still eating it was definitely on my mind.
