Why not?

Why couldn’t God add 100 people to our Ministry Team this year?

RCA is going for it.

We should too. Let’s do it. Why shouldn’t we?

In other news:

Alter Bridge. What Creed might have been? It’s weird hearing Creed without Scott Stapp singing. Check out their first single.

    dude,

matt, you’re absoloutely right. i’m totally behind you if you guys go for it too. it sounds (from your comment on my blog) like you’ve got the right attitude about it. your team (no offense) can’t do it. just like rca can’t. thats why it’s so sweet. God is going to do something in our generation that we wouldn’t have believed even if we were told.

i thought about nate and linden’s goal last night when brent knox asked us what we thought the rock would be like if everyone had that kind of desire to hear from God every day and go after it in the word…crazy thoughts

Isn’t it crazy to think of what God COULD do?…

Hmm… looks like Creed… sounds like Creed… hmm… Actually, I think the new guy is a better singer than Stapp. Also it’s nice to hear Tremonti finally rip stuff up like you know he’s been wanting to for the last 8 years. I am disturbed by the similarities in our playing - if I’d ever gotten into the dropped-D thing, it would be even worse.
I hope that their label chose the most “creed-like” song for the single and that the rest of the album actually treads some new ground, because I think the power-ballad has been beaten to death.
