Actually, I think the new guy is a better singer than Stapp. Also it's nice to hear Tremonti finally rip stuff up like you know he's been wanting to for the last 8 years. I am disturbed by the similarities in our playing - if I'd ever gotten into the dropped-D thing, it would be even worse. I hope that their label chose the most "creed-like" song for the single and that the rest of the album actually treads some new ground, because I think the power-ballad has been beaten to death.
