Ari Hest
In true flavor of the moment fashion, I really like Ari Hest. I just discovered him yesterday, via a campus discussion board. I found out he was in town two days ago (dang, just missed him.)
I’ll probably like him less when I find out more about him, or his music, but for now, I’m enjoying listening to the streaming audio on his Web site. I’ll probably pick up the CD some time.
The guy has a lot going for him. He LOOKS AND SOUNDS like a cross between John Mayer and Bruce Springsteen (with a bit of young Elvis’s baby face thrown in…)
It’ll be interesting to see where he goes.
Yeah, he’s been around for a while. I like him, too. A little like Jack Johnson but his lyrics aren’t as trite.
Ari’s great. Once you see and hear him live, you’ll be hooked. And the more you learn about him, the more you like him. He’s really sweet to his fans :)
