Face To Face: Shoot The Moon
Merry Christmas to me.
Pat tipped me off to this wonderful piece of Punk Rock amazingness. I have been a Face to Face fan since I was introduced in 2000-ish, which was entirely too late to catch much of them live. This DVD make me feel that I’m making up for lost time. I got it with a Christmas gift card and am enjoying it thoroughly. I recommend it to any fan of punk music. And by punk music, I don’t mean any bands that started in the last 10-15 years. Those kids were in diapers when Face to Face was forging punk music from the flames o the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Elvis Costelo and U2 (bwahahaha). It’s also funny that I talk like I know what I’m talking about.
“I hear you talk the talk, but I don’t see you walk the walk and I still don’t believe a thing you say.”
PUNK ROCK EATS IT’S OWN: A FILM ABOUT FACE TO FACE is an all new feature length documentary about the rise of one of the most influential punk rock bands of the 90s as told by the band members. This critically acclaimed documentary contains candid interviews from every member of Face to Face, rare video footage, never before seen photos, and exclusive live performances. Following their 13-year plus career, the former members of the band describe in detail the struggle, pain, glory, and bittersweet irony of what it means to have been a part of this iconic punk rock band.
