New David Crowder Band: Oh The Glory Of It All

passion 07

Unfortunately not a new live album yet (I hear that is coming later this year?), but still a good live recording from Passion 07.

Called “Oh The Glory Of It All” it seems to be, musically and lyrically a progression in the line of “Deliver Me” and “Coming Towards”. If you put these three songs together you get a nice pretty straight line. Not sure if that’s what they intended or not, but that’s what I’m hearing.

Nice work, guys. Hope you don’t mind if I post the lyrics?

I transcribed the lyrics from the live recording on iTunes from Passion: Live from Passion 07 pt.2 (you should also get part 1)

Oh the Glory of it All
David Crowder Band

At the start
he was there, he was there
In the end,
he’ll be there, he’ll be there

And After all our hands have wrought
He forgives

Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
For the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
for the glory of it all

All is lost
find him there, find him there
After night
Dawn is there, Dawn is there

After all falls apart
he repairs he repairs

Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all

oh he is here
for redemption from the fall
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all

After night
comes the light
dawn is here
dawn is here
it’s a new day
it’s a new day
everything will change
things will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same

Oh, The glory of it all is
you came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all

Oh you are here
with redemption for us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all

You can delete this after you read this, but could you make it so that your web site-ings don’t end up on Planet Rock?

Wow you me and my buddy mudpuppy are the only ones with these lyrics. I had the good fortune to hear this new song played live at the Mars Hill Church in grand Rapids. I also met and had my picture taken with David Crowder after. Awesome day. Nice post.

this song means so much… the David Crowder Band really shows what Jesus can do in this song. You should all really take a look at the lyrics and think about them. He can really do great things.

i went to a camp, called Never the Same camp. and the Worship band at camp sang this song on the last night, and it touched me. because i was truely changed, and i will never be the same. David Crowder is one of my favorite bands and i love this song.

this song almost killed me, I went w/a buddy at lunch, picked up the CD at Wal-mart and thru it in my car after we got back, on the way home I put the CD in my player and at the Start “no pun intended” it sounded like a tape was getting ate up like back in the 80’s, I swirved off the side of the road trying to get the tape ejected and i had forgot that it’s a CD and that it would sound like that, after maintaining the car back on the road i drove home listening to that song the rest of the trip, the next day is when i got the courage to go all the way thru the Cd and it’s been a blessing on my drive back and forth to work since then, thanks man….
