New toy.

Did I say toy? I meant tool. The Fender Strat Standard. Should be here tomorrow or Saturday.

(btw, I doctored the photo to be the sage green metallic color that I ordered. It’s a pretty good coloring job if you ask me ;) compare it to the original…)

    What’s wrong with Fender? They are sweet sounding, affordable, quality guitars.

    Hmmm… Hendrix, Clapton, Stevie Ray, Eric Johnson, David Gilmour… yeah, those Fenders sure are crap. (And that’s just a short list of guys who played Strats - Van Halen even played a juiced up Fender for years).

    Looks nice. Didn’t know you were in the market for one. In fact, I don’t ever recall you mentioning that you needed one.
    So, why did you buy this? Did you pray about it first? Was this decision by faith or impulsive?

    man, i didn’t tell you that I haven’t really been that impressed with the gibson? It’s a great guitar and all cough but it just isn’t up to what I need it to do. I’ve been looking for a good electric and pondering purchasing this exact one since I got the black one (which I am going to sell on Ebay)

    no humbuckers…..it’s a sad thing. And I am not a huge Ibanez person or anything, I just had one as a first electric. I’m more of an odd brand person myself. I have a cort acoustic (not unheard of, but not overly popular) am trying to find a certain model “Vantage” acoustic (which is an excellent guitar, but out of make), and my main electric is now an Agile LP-2500. It looks a lot like a les paul, and sounds better than many of them. That picture on my blog was taken when I was playing it…..theres a pic of Mike playing it in the SALT section of Borseths photo gallery…..

    I wish I had a Parker……..

    And everybody has a fender……why conform to the world? Isn’t there a bible verse about that?
