Megan - did you notice him saying "live live live live live" at the beginning of vertigo to prove that they weren't recorded? :)

Greg - and that is why you fail...

If you don't understand why we like U2 so much, I question whether you will ever make it as a rock musician.

(unos, dos, tres, catorce)

ya, we caught the catorce after the first listen. Brilliant stuff.

Punk musician? I'm willing to bet you don't even know what punk IS.

U2 started as a quasi-punk band actually :) Back when punk was actually punk.

(ps: i just have to give you hard time because i'm old and you are young, don't take it too personally, punk.)

As a former punk myself, I must say that the term "punk musician" is most certainly oxymoronic.

actually guys, as far as music goes, i don't think that there are really any good "musicians" that are popular today. They just don't have the brilliance that a true artist would have. Beethoven would sit for hours and become frustrated over 1 measure. Today, it's much more like "yeah, that sounds good". I guess what I'm saying is that none of us are really great musicians; there is a difference between being a good guitarist and being a good musician....

i'm not writing this very well, but i think you get my drift....

By the way Matt, I want to read a book on worship (and maybe worship leading) but have no clue where to start. What would you recommend?
