It sounds so much cooler to say “Ancient prophesy from Balaam son of Beorn” than it would to say “this is what Balaam said in the old testament…..” This is how you market the Bible to Lord of the Rings fans……
Precisely. Much cooler than saying “Numbers 24:17-19″
Not so much about marketting… more about putting the due wonder and mystery back into scripture.
