Quoting Mark Driscoll on Serving in the Church
I am going to snip out a Mark Driscoll quote and post it without context. He hates it when people do that. :)
“It’s so much easier to be a critic than it is a musician. It’s so much easier to be a referee than to be an athlete…. But the truth is, if you share a parental heart for the church you’ll be well aware of all the flaws and shortcomings of the church and you’ll respond not just as a critic but as a servant.”
Even though the surrounding context isn’t there, I think the message is pure, and dead on.
Just thought I’d mention it.
