Which Theologian Are You?

Sorta interesting… I think it points out my influences more than anything. Not sure the statement is entirely accurate to what I hold as most important, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Are these quizzes getting annoying yet? They seem to be pretty popular :)

You scored as Anselm. Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man’s primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read ‘Cur Deus Homo?’

Apparently I’m a three-way tie among Anselm, Karl Barth, and Martin Luther.

    You scored as Karl Barth.

The daddy of 20th Century theology. You perceive liberal theology to be a disaster and so you insist that the revelation of Christ, not human experience, should be the starting point for all theology

    I also scored as Anselm.

I also scored 100% Anselm…perhaps I should read up on him

    You scored as Emperor Palpatine.

Dark Lord of the Sith. You believe that might makes right, and those with power are afraid to lose it, even the Jedi. To be one with the force is secondary to having absolute power

I scored 87% Anselm, and 67% Luther and Calvin, and 60% Barth.

I was hoping to score as Tom Bombadil.

100% Luther… maybe all those Catechism classes sunk in after all.

And then I woke up and said, “Who am I?”

    You scored as Jonathan Edwards.

You’re the original hellfire-and brimstone preacher and you take God’s justice very seriously. You are passionate about preaching and an accomplished theologian.

    Jonathan Edwards 87%
    Karl Barth 80%
    Anselm 80%
    John Calvin 80%
