Internet Explorer is horrible

Tim suggested I blog about this (even though I probably have elsewhere). I really don’t want to bore you with all the specific details of why, because they are mostly technical. But IE causes me numerous headaches a day. Mostly I want to alert you to the benefits of using another browser. But I’ve done that already

I suggest you all go download Mozilla firefox and take it for a spin (try pressing ctrl + t). I think you will like it.

Also, go read the Userfriendly comic strip from April 22 until the 30th. Only geeks will probably find it truly funny, but still…

Have a great day. Stop using IE. :)

I’m not making this up–I read the comics up to Apr 28, but when I pressed “next” IE5 popped up a window that said “Error; one or more of your windows will be closed.”

OK, the second time through it worked. It was worth it for the Apr 30th cartoon.

Matt, just wait till you get your new powerbook…launch the Apple browser, Safari, and you will never look back.

Safari is also excellent. I think I am sticking with Mozilla however :).
